MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was an instant Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. In 2021, he also performed an duet with the TINI streaming hit single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into the musical home of his family. Both his older brother and mother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described playing music as an obligation. He began playing guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child.
