Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. She was first known for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s where she co-starred alongside an established actor Anil Koopor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. In Mumbai her home, she grew up within a middle class family parents. At a very young age, she started to study dance. While still a teenager she tried her hand at acting, but the majority films she attempted to make were unsuccessful. She eventually found success and was one of the most prominent actors on the Indian film business. She took a break from her career due to her marriage, before going back to the world of entertainment. In the last few years, Dixit was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. She won eight of them. Dixit was also awarded her Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her name is well-known for her social works as well.
